Human Resources Director at National Bank of Rwanda (NBR)

MUHIRE Modeste has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as the Guild President/Chairman of the National Inter-Universities Guild Presidents Council at the School of Finance & Banking. MUHIRE then worked as a Partnership Facilitator at Compassion International, Rwanda Country Office. Following that, they became the Director of Finance at the Workforce Development Authority, where they developed financial systems and procedures. Currently, they are working at the National Bank of Rwanda as the Human Resources Director and has previously served as the Director of Strategy and Company Secretary, leading the formulation and delivery of the bank's strategic plan.

MUHIRE Modeste, SPHRi, completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

- From 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Finance and Banking at Kampala International University.

- Between 2006 and 2008, they acquired a Business Administration Certification in Management from the Kigali Institute of Science, Technology, and Management.

- During the same period from 2006 to 2008, they also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting from the School of Finance & Banking (SFB).

Additionally, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including:

- In January 2022, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International™ (SPHRi™) certification from HRCI.

- In May 2021, they achieved the Certified Professional Coach certification from CDI Africa, Coaching Group Nairobi-Kenya.

- In March 2019, they earned the Balance Scorecard Professional (BSP) certification from the Balanced Scorecard Institute, Dubai-UAE.

- In January 2015, they acquired the Chartered Human Resources Analyst (CHRA) certification from the American Academy of Project Management, Nairobi-Kenya.
