Glenn Kirby

Glenn Kirby has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Glenn started their career in 1989 as a Sr Auditor at Ernst & Young. In 1990, they joined TXU as a Financial Manager/Senior Financial Analyst, where they provided support for mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, risk management, capital structure, and KPIs. At TXU, they also led internal and external teams for major debt and equity capital markets funding transactions.

In 1999, Glenn joined Dal-Tile Corporation (a division of Mohawk Industries) as a Manager of Corporate Planning, where they designed a screening process for competitors and potential acquisition candidates and led cross-functional executive meetings to identify opportunities. Glenn also played a key role in negotiating a joint venture with an international tile manufacturer and assisted the CFO in investor relations.

In 2001, Glenn became a Director of Product Team Finance at Dal-Tile Corporation. Glenn led a team supporting the VP of Product Management and was responsible for the long-term strategic and annual operating sales plan for all product teams. Glenn also employed SKU management and lifecycle analysis to help identify underperforming SKUs and reduce complexity in the product offering. Additionally, they calculated product market share for the company and its major competitors in an industry with limited publicly available information.

From 2011 to 2012, Glenn was the Director of Forecasting and Strategic Planning at Dal-Tile Corporation, where they owned the process ensuring alignment between operational sales forecasts, financial forecasts, and the long-term strategic plan.
