Joshita S. has a diverse work experience. Currently, they are working as a Research Intern at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Alongside this role, they are also the Co-Founder of BollyTaal, a position they have held since May 2021. In 2022, they took on leadership roles as the President of HOSA-Future Health Professionals and National Beta. Joshita is also the Captain of the Denmark Dance Team. In addition, Joshita has gained practical experience as a Clinical Student Intern at Wellstar Health System and a Clinical Intern at Dental Town LLC. Joshita also serves as a Dance Instructor/Therapist at Proud To Be Me Autism Dance Therapy. Finally, they hold leadership positions as the President of MDJunior and the Vice President of the American Red Cross.
Joshita S. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Joshita attended Denmark High School for their secondary education. In 2021, they enrolled in the Dual Enrollment Program at Georgia State University, pursuing an Associates Degree.
Joshita also has several additional certifications. In January 2021, they obtained certification in Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine from the American Red Cross. In February 2022, they obtained certification in Child CPR, Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid from the American Heart Association. In April 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate: Software Development Fundamentals (MTA) certification from Microsoft.

National Beta
Between Junior Beta (grades 4-8) and Senior Beta (grades 9-12), National Beta has helped nearly seven million students learn how to make a life for themselves—and, since 1991, it has awarded over $5 million in scholarships. There are now more than 500,000 active members and more than 8,750 clubs nationally and internationally. It has become the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. Although there are some universal requirements, each chapter has its own criteria for selection. Junior Beta is divided into two divisions: Division I includes grades 4-5 and Division II includes grades 6-8. Senior Beta includes grades 9-12. Regardless of division, though, members adhere to the Beta mission and learn to embrace and embody its four pillars. Beta’s mission originated with Dr. John W. Harris, a professor at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who founded the organization in 1934. Over 80 years have passed, but his vision and Beta’s mission has remained the same. And most everyone who has been fortunate enough to be called a Beta has embraced those ideals and applied them to their own lives. From U.S. President Bill Clinton to current professional basketball player Kevin Durant, Beta members continue to lead long after their high school days are behind them.
