National Director Of The Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition at National Black Law Students Association

Kennedy Gerard is currently the National Director of The Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition for the National Black Law Students Association and serves as an Associate Case Editor and Staff Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal. Prior experience includes positions as a Summer Law Clerk at Fishman Haygood LLP and a Summer Associate at Butler Snow LLP. Kennedy has held leadership roles, such as President of the Constance Slaughter-Harvey Chapter of Black Law Students Association, and gained practical experience as a Legal Extern at the Office of the General Counsel for the University of Mississippi and as a Legal Intern at Terminix. Education includes pursuing a Doctor of Law - JD at the University of Mississippi School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Political Science and Government from Howard University.
