Beth Brandes

National Certified Counselor at The National Board for Certified Counselors

Beth Brandes possesses extensive experience in school counseling, currently serving as a College & School Counselor at Cathedral High School since January 2020, where the focus is on guiding students in grades 9-12 in various aspects of their development. In addition to this role, Beth is a part-time Training Consultant at Bonfire Training and holds a National Certified Counselor designation from the National Board for Certified Counselors since September 2005. Previous positions include Advisor roles at College Select Advising and College Planning Network, as well as Director of Guidance & College Counseling at St. Theodore Guerin High School. Beth also contributed to the NCAA as a Liaison to the NCAA Eligibility Center and as a member of the NCAA High School Advisory Committee, leveraging experience as a former high school and collegiate athlete. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Butler University, a Certificate in School Management & Leadership from Harvard, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Saint Joseph's College.
