John Dudley is an experienced educator and consultant currently serving as a Senior Manager of District Engagement at the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, where responsibilities include outreach to school districts and promoting National Board Certification. As an Adjunct Faculty member at DePaul University, John teaches courses in education, focusing on preparing future teachers. As the Founder and CEO of John Dudley Consulting, LLC, insights are provided on internship and apprenticeship program design and employee training. Previous roles include Director of College Persistence at One Goal, where John worked to support low-income, minority students in college enrollment and persistence, and College and Career Counselor at Collins Academy High School, mentoring students in post-secondary choices. John’s teaching career includes over a decade as a social studies educator, and contributions as a Social Studies Mentor at the National Board Resource Center further highlight a commitment to educational excellence. John holds a Master's degree in Education Leadership from DePaul University and a BA in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
