Naru Srinivasan

Naru Srinivasan currently serves as Group COO at National Bonds since January 2024. Previously, Naru held the position of COO & Chief Digital Officer at Dukhan Bank in Doha, Qatar from October 2016 to August 2023, responsible for the bank's Operations & Technology functions. Naru also briefly served as Group COO at Barwa Bank in October 2016. Prior to these roles, Naru was Managing Director and Regional Head of Operations at Barclays UK, overseeing operations across nine countries in the EMEA region from July 2015 to October 2016. Naru's extensive experience at Barclays Bank includes positions as Managing Director, Head of Operations for the Middle East & Asia, and Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to October 2016. Naru began a career at Standard Chartered Bank, serving as CIO in India and Head of Wholesale Bank Operations for GSSC from 1988 to 2008, and Naru also held the role of Head of Wholesale Bank Operations at Scope International from 2002 to 2007. Naru graduated from the University of Mumbai between 1979 and 1987.
