Deana Martin has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Deana began their career in 1999 as a Stage Manager for New Paradise Laboratories, a movement theatre company, where they were responsible for scheduling rehearsals, coordinating stage crew, and overseeing performances. In 2005, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Brick Wall Management, providing promotional graphics for artists. From 2006 to 2012, Deana served as the Manager of Exhibition Sales and Web Marketing at IAAPA, focusing on booth sales and managing content for the company's website. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for WHY (World Hunger Year). From 2012 to 2019, they held the position of Director of Events at Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, and in 2019 they became the Director of Regional Development and Project Management at National Brain Tumor Society.
