Kaitlyn Butler

Director, Strategic Initiatives at National Brain Tumor Society

Kaitlyn Butler has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Kaitlyn started their career as a Community Initiatives Coordinator at the Two Ten Footwear Foundation from September 2014 to March 2016. Kaitlyn then moved on to work at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, where they initially served as a Special Events Coordinator from March 2016 to November 2018, and then as a Development Officer, focusing on Special Events from November 2018 to February 2022. After that, they joined the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as an Officer in Event Fundraising from November 2018 to February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives at the National Brain Tumor Society starting from February 2022. Kaitlyn will be taking on the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives from June 2023. In their various roles, they have been involved in project management, strategic planning, fundraising campaigns, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Kaitlyn Butler attended Fairfield University from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued a BA in Communication & Art History. In 2013, they also participated in a program called College Year in Athens, where they studied The Archaeology of Athens. Prior to their university studies, Kaitlyn attended Boston Latin School from 2004 to 2010.
