Rachel Backner

Rachel Backner is an experienced professional in development and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Regional Development for New England at the National Brain Tumor Society since April 2018. Prior to this role, Backner held various positions including Associate Director of Development Operations and Stewardship at Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston and Associate Director of Campaign Administration at Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Director of Development at Jewish Family and Children's Service and as a Development Officer at Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Backner holds a BFA in Theater from Pace University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
