Eugene Kelly

Eugene Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Eugene most recently served as the Head of Operations - Design at National Broadband Ireland since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Director at Huawei Technologies from February 2018 to July 2021. Before joining Huawei, they held the position of Senior Project Manager at KTL from October 2016 to February 2018. Eugene also has experience as a Build Manager and Project Manager at KTL from June 2015 to January 2016 and from January 2014 to June 2015, respectively. Eugene started their career as a Site Engineer at Tusker Construction Group from May 2013 to December 2013. Eugene worked as a Lead Surveyor at Murphy Surveys from November 2012 to May 2013, where they were involved in collecting data related to flooding in the North West, Neagh Bann catchment basin. Prior to Murphy Surveys, they worked as an Assistant Surveyor at McDonald Surveys from June 2012 to November 2012, focusing on data collection for flooding areas in the River Nore, Suir, Barrow catchment basins. Eugene gained work experience as a Thesis Student at DIT Bolton Street from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they had a work experience role at Wilken Developments Limited from June 2011 to October 2011. Eugene's earlier professional experience includes working as a CCTV Drain Technician at CleanSweep Environmental Services from April 2004 to December 2007.

Eugene Kelly obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Technological University Dublin in 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Ord) in Civil Engineering from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2010. In terms of certifications, Eugene obtained the CDM 2015 management Principals certification from Human Focus International in November 2017, the Managing safely for construction managers certification from IOSH in 2014, and the Advanced Climber certification from Industrial Safety & Rescue in March 2014.
