Liz Meitner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academic administration, nonprofit advocacy, and public policy. Currently serving as the Program Administrator for the Interior Architecture Program at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University since 2015, Liz focuses on student needs, program marketing, and academic scheduling. Alongside this role, Liz has volunteered as a Visitor Services Associate at the National Building Museum since 2007, where educational initiatives highlight modern architecture. Liz played a pivotal role in establishing a DC Chapter of DOCOMOMO and has contributed to public engagement efforts through the DC Preservation League. Earlier career roles included leadership positions in advocacy organizations such as Voices for America's Children and the Child Welfare League of America, where Liz managed significant budgets and led lobbying efforts that secured substantial federal funding for programs benefiting children and families.
