Roy Kamphausen

President at The National Bureau of Asian Research

Roy Kamphausen is the President of The National Bureau of Asian Research, where Roy previously held the title of Senior Vice President for Research. Roy also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, teaching courses on East Asian Security and the Chinese People's Liberation Army. With a background as a U.S. Army Officer specializing in China, Roy also worked as the Director, Vice President, and Senior Vice President for Political and Security Affairs at The National Bureau of Asian Research. Additionally, Roy was the Principal at XYDRen, LLC. Roy holds a MIA in International Affairs with a focus on East Asia Studies from Columbia University and a B.A. in Political Science from Wheaton College.
