David Molitor

David Molitor is an accomplished academic in the field of finance, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Finance at Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since July 2013. In addition, David has held roles as a Research Associate and Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research since September 2014. With a strong background in research, David was a Visiting Associate Professor at Stanford University from July 2022 to July 2023 and previously completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University from July 2012 to July 2013. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Minnesota.
