Shameela Soobramoney

Shameela Soobramoney is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the National Business Initiative and a Non-Executive Director at WWF South Africa. Prior to these roles, Shameela held positions such as Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Manager at JSE, Group Senior Strategist at the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and Chair of the Sustainability Working Group at the World Federation of Exchanges. With a background in Sustainability Leadership and Business Administration, Shameela has extensive experience in strategy development, sustainability integration, and customer service management.
