Mark Tynes, MPA, is a seasoned professional in vocational development and case management, with extensive experience in addiction treatment and youth employment services. Currently serving as a Vocational Development Specialist for the DC Government since July 2022, Mark conducts assessments to tailor services for clients. Mark has a long-standing role as a Residential Specialist/Clinical Assistant at National Capital Treatment & Recovery, where responsibilities include counseling and supervising clients in recovery. Previous roles encompass a Re-Entry Court Case Manager at the Circuit Court of Prince George's County, a Youth Employment Specialist for the City of Alexandria, and an Intake Specialist I for the Office of the Public Defender Maryland. Mark's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Philosophy from Western Michigan University.
