Gary Pritchard

Gary Pritchard has extensive experience in the broadcast and captioning industry, having worked at the National Captioning Institute since June 2000, progressing from Automated Captioning Specialist to Senior Automated Captioning Specialist, where responsibilities include training and managing a team of six specialists. Prior roles at the National Captioning Institute involved scheduling and monitoring captioning for various media, as well as routing caption data for live broadcasts. Additional experience encompasses positions such as News Videographer at WJHL-TV, where video news packages were produced, and Radio Production Manager/Commercial Copywriter at WIDD-WJSO AM-FM, focusing on creating radio commercials and managing production schedules. Gary Pritchard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from East Tennessee State University.
