Michael Larsen

Michael Larsen is an experienced marine professional with a diverse background in maritime operations and surveying. Currently serving as a Senior Surveyor at the National Cargo Bureau since February 2019, Michael has built a robust career that includes roles such as Chief Mate and 2nd Mate at Crowley from September 2012 to February 2019. Prior experience includes positions as a Second Officer with the Military Sealift Command, where responsibilities spanned various vessels, and an Assistant to Quality & Safety Director at McAllister Towing, focusing on document control for ISM certification. Michael began the maritime career at Allied Transportation Corporation as an OS/Trainee/Asst Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Marine Operations from SUNY Maritime College and a high school diploma in Marine Sciences/Oceanography from the Marine Academy of Science and Technology.
