Rex Dufour

Regional Office Director, NCAT at National Center for Appropriate Technology

Rex Dufour has over 30 years of work experience in various organizations. Rex worked as a Regional Office Director for the National Center for Appropriate Technology, where they managed office operations, developed partnerships, wrote proposals, and secured funding for multiple projects. Rex also contributed to the ATTRA project by creating informative materials and publications. Prior to that, Rex served as a Project Manager for the US State Department, overseeing a rural development project in Laos. Rex successfully managed a significant budget and target population. Rex's experience also includes working as an Affected Thai Village (ATV) Program Officer for the United Nations Border Relief Operation (UNBRO). During this time, they managed and implemented sustainable rural development projects across several Thai border provinces. Overall, Rex has demonstrated expertise in project management, budgeting, and developing partnerships for sustainable development initiatives.

Rex Dufour earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from The Colorado College. Rex then pursued an MSc in Integrated Pest Management at the University of California, Riverside. Prior to this, they attended San Jose State University with a focus on Entomology.
