Murtaz Kvirkvaia

Murtaz Kvirkvaia is an accomplished academic and expert in the field of economics and educational quality enhancement. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Kutaisi International University since 2020, Murtaz also holds a position as an Expert of Higher Education Institution authorization at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement since November 2017. Murtaz previously held significant roles, including Dean of the School of Business and Management at Grigol Robakidze University from September 2007 to February 2021, and consultancy work for the Association Regional/Rural Development for Future Georgia in 2016. Murtaz has extensive experience with UNDP, where roles included Social-Economic and Employment Expert. Additionally, Murtaz contributed to Ilia State University as an Associate Professor and served as Deputy Dean and Associate Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Murtaz holds a PhD in Economics from Tbilisi State University, completed between 1997 and 2000, and a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the same institution, obtained from 1991 to 1996.
