Jason Born

Jason Born is a seasoned professional in the philanthropic sector with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Knowledge Director at the National Center for Family Philanthropy since 2010, Jason guides strategic positioning and manages outreach for subscription services and sponsorships. Previously, as Director of National Outreach at Melville Charitable Trust, Jason led initiatives for Funders Together to End Homelessness, developing impactful educational events and a national network for foundations. Jason also held the role of Senior Program Director at the National Center for Family Philanthropy from 1997 to 2005, where achievements included the creation of an award-winning online learning center and the founding of a prominent e-newsletter. Earlier experience includes serving as Program Coordinator at the Council on Foundations. Jason holds a BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master's in Economics from Tulane University.
