Edwin T. Bell

Director, Racial Justice, Equity & Inclusion at National Center for State Courts

Edwin T. Bell currently serves as the Director of Racial Justice, Equity & Inclusion at the National Center for State Courts. Prior to this, they were the Deputy Court Administrator at DeKalb County Superior Court from July 2012 to October 2020. Bell has also served as the President of the Georgia Council of Court Administrators from January 2012 to December 2013, and as the Clerk of Court for Fulton County Government from October 2011 to July 2012. Edwin began their career in 2001 as a Senior Strategic Planner for the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in the State of Georgia, where they worked until 2004.

After completing their undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Georgia State University, Edwin T. Bell went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration with a focus in innovation from Clayton State University. Edwin is also an ICM Fellow from the National Center for State Courts.
