Erika Bailey is a Court Research Analyst at the National Center for State Courts. Erika has a long history of working with historical information and research, dating back to their time as an Erika'storic Site Interpreter with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation from 2010 to 2017. In this role, Erika instructed groups of museum visitors in complex historical information, researched and read scholarly articles to improve historical presentations, and lectured daily before 150-200 people. Erika also frequently served as building opener/tour coordinator for the day at the busiest site, managing coworkers to ensure punctuality of tours, answering guest questions, and troubleshooting issues occurring throughout the day.
In February 2018, Erika transitioned to a new role as a Data Analyst with the Data Analysis Team at Wake Forest University. In this role, they performed statistical analyses on previously collected data for various campus departments, including processing over 300 variables measured with the American College Health Association National College Health Assessment II survey for the Office of Wellbeing. Erika remained in this role until August 2018 when they began working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Psychology Department at Wake Forest University. Erika held this position until May 2019.
Erika Bailey reports to Pamela Casey, VP, Research Division. They work with Miriam Hamilton - Court Research Analyst, Andrea Miller - Senior Court Research Associate, and Jennifer Elek - Principal Court Research Associate.
