Kris Tassone

Kris Tassone serves as Policy Counsel at the National Center for Transgender Equality since June 2022, having previously held the same title at the organization from February 2017 to November 2017. Additionally, Kris contributed as a member of the Amicus Brief Task Force at BiLaw from September 2014 to June 2023. Education includes a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Kent State University. Notable past positions include Chair of the Student Congress at the National LGBT Bar Association and various legal internships and assistant roles, showcasing extensive experience in legal research, policy development, and advocacy for marginalized communities.
