Philip Corwin is a legal and policy expert with extensive experience in internet governance and trademark law. Currently a member of the International Trademark Association's Internet Committee and an advisor at Verisign, Philip has played a vital role in shaping trademark protection policies within the domain name system through various initiatives. As a co-chair of the GNSO Council's PDP Working Group at ICANN, Philip has facilitated the development and approval of recommendations concerning rights protections for all gTLDs. Previous positions include founding principal at Virtualaw LLC and legal counsel for the Internet Commerce Association, along with a partnership at Butera & Andrews. Philip holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Cornell University.
