Dr. Niels Grabe is a distinguished professor at the Institute of Pathology, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, and has been associated with the National Center for Tumor Diseases in Heidelberg since 2012, focusing on integrating digital pathology and biomarker profiling in clinical trials and immuno-oncology. Dr. Grabe is the founder and managing director of STCMED, which developed the innovative CYTOREADER for cervical cancer screening. Furthermore, Dr. Grabe is the founder and scientific director of the Hamamatsu Tissue Imaging and Analysis TIGA Center at the University of Heidelberg, where significant advancements in digital pathology and systems biology have been made, including the first application of whole-slide imaging.
