Daniel Senter

Deputy Director & Counsel, Compassionate Education Systems at National Center For Youth Law

Daniel Senter provides legal and programmatic support for Compassionate Education Systems primarily in the areas of youth rights, special education, and education technology legal issues such as privacy and IP rights. Prior to NCYL, Senter served as an intellectual property attorney at Donahue Fitzgerald LLP, founded and directed the Education Advocacy Project at the East Bay Children’s Law Offices, and was a special education teacher in OUSD. Senter is the recipient of the Irmas Fellowship and Jefferson Award. He was named Outstanding Young Lawyer by the National Association of Counsel for Children (2014). Senter is a graduate of Harvard College and USC Gould School of Law.
