Kimberly Quiros-Elias joined NCYL in August 2021 as the Program Associate for the Reproductive Health and Equity Project for Foster Youth. She earned her B.S. in Earth System Science and B.A. in Business Economics at the University of California, Irvine. While studying at UC Irvine, Quiros was a Peer Mentor for the Foster Youth Resilience in Education (FYRE) Program where she used her experience as a former foster youth to connect FYRE scholars to resources and coordinate workshops that provided professional and academic development. After graduating she was a Program Intern for the Anthony and Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation where she processed grants and managed social media.
