Laura Alvarez

Program Associate at National Center For Youth Law

Laura is a Program Associate on NCYL’s Immigration team. Her role focuses on supporting the team with various projects including development, communications, and data analysis. Before joining NCYL, Laura worked directly with unaccompanied immigrant youth, helping them secure legal representation at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). She received her B.A. in Social Work and a minor in Political Science from Seton Hall University and Master of Social Work with a concentration in International Social Welfare and Services to Immigrants and Refugees from Columbia University.
