Marc Tucker is the President of the National Center on Education and the Economy, a position held since 1988, where extensive research on high-performing education systems has been conducted, leading to several impactful programs and reports. Previous roles include Executive Director of the Carnegie Forum on Education and the Economy and Director of the Project on Information Technology and Education at the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Additionally, Marc Tucker served as Associate Director for Education Policy and Organization at the National Institute of Education from 1971 to 1981.
