Abhishek Anand

Abhishek Anand is a skilled professional with extensive experience in business development and research within the biological sciences field. Currently serving as a Business Development Manager at the National Centre for Biological Sciences since December 2021, Abhishek consults for various facilities, including NCBS-inStem and the Mouse Genome Engineering Facility. Abhishek is also the Founder and CEO of Wochman, established in February 2019, and previously held the role of Founder In Residence at Entrepreneur First from January 2019 to 2020. From 2014 to 2017, Abhishek worked as a Research Fellow at the National Centre for Biological Sciences and conducted a Master Thesis on spatial learning in guppies at the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, Kolkata, in 2013-2014. Abhishek's academic foundation includes a BS-MS Dual Degree in Biology from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, completed between 2009 and 2014.
