Soumya Bhattacharjee

Soumya Bhattacharjee is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of BrainEnTech Neuroscience since May 2020, focusing on developing a high bandwidth data transfer system between the human brain and the outside world. In addition, Soumya serves as a Founder In Residence at Entrepreneur First, having built a team and market-validated a core idea with the support of the organization. Soumya's academic background includes a PhD Scholar position at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, investigating temporal event association in the brain, alongside earlier research internships and projects in various biotechnology fields. Soumya holds a Master of Engineering in Biotechnology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
