April Shaffer

April Shaffer is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in banking and philanthropic support. Currently serving as a SO Support Specialist at the National Christian Foundation since July 2017, April focuses on implementing philanthropic goals by developing and administering new Supporting Organizations. April has held various leadership roles, including Vice President positions at United Community Bank, PNC, State Bank and Trust Company, and Wachovia Bank, where responsibilities included managing substantial lending portfolios and providing credit and portfolio management expertise. April holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University and a B.A. in Accounting and Business/Management from Asbury University.
