Colleen Bain

Colleen Bain has a diverse background in the field of housing and homelessness. Colleen started their career at Netcare Corporation as an Assistant Program Manager from 1987 to 1994. Colleen then joined Faith Mission, Inc. (Lutheran Social Services) as the Director of Case Management Services from 1995 to 2002, where they oversaw multiple shelters and housing programs. Colleen then moved on to YWCA Columbus, where they served as the Senior Vice President from 2002 to 2007 and was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of expanded housing programs. Following that, they worked as the Executive Director of Faith Mission Inc. (Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio) from 2007 to 2008. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Supportive Housing at National Church Residences, where they are responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of permanent supportive housing for the homeless and low-income families.

Colleen Bain earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1987, majoring in Psychology with a minor in French. Colleen later pursued a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education: Clinical Counseling at the University of Dayton from 1992 to 1996.
