Damita Brown currently serves as Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at National Church Residences, focusing on fostering a diverse and inclusive culture that enhances care and services for seniors. Previously, Damita held roles such as Chief Diversity Officer and Manager of Supplier Diversity for the City of Columbus, Vice President of Supplier Diversity at Huntington National Bank, and Economic Development Manager for the City of Columbus. At the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, responsibilities included leading business diversity initiatives and managing the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program. Damita's early career involved serving as Program Director at United Way of Central Ohio, where expertise in cultural competency was developed. Damita holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, History, and Ethnic Studies from Capital University.
