S L has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries. They started their career as a Development Intern at Tribeca Productions in 2003. From 2004 to 2005, S L worked as a Telephone Fundraiser at the University of Florida Foundation. They then joined Life Is My Movie Entertainment and held multiple roles as a Producer, Writer, and Marketing Coordinator from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, S L began working at CSI: Miami as a Freelance Script Writer, Writers' Assistant, and Writers' Production Assistant, a role they held until 2011. S L then transitioned to independent writing from 2011 to 2012. They worked as an Administrative Assistant on a freelance basis from 2012 to 2014. Following this, S L served as an Operations Administrative Assistant at the Anti-Defamation League from 2014 to 2015. Their most recent position was at National CineMedia (NCM), where they worked as a Media Services Associate from 2015 to 2017 before assuming the role of an Advertising Inventory Analyst.

From 2000 to 2004, S L attended the University of Florida and pursued a dual major program. S L successfully completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science during this time.
