Neel Saxena

Neel Saxena serves as the Managing Director of Strategic Development at the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD) since May 2022, where responsibilities include leading the organization-wide fund development strategy for an annual budget of $6–$7 million. Previously, Neel held the position of Chief Advancement Officer at Fair Chance from March 2020 to May 2022, focusing on external relations, fundraising, and strategic communications. Neel's experience as Executive Director at Asian American LEAD (AALEAD) included designing organizational strategies and fundraising efforts, resulting in significant funding acquisitions. Neel has also held roles in the Government of the District of Columbia, overseeing grant management and language access programs, and contributed to capacity-building initiatives across various organizations. Neel holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
