Kellem Agnew Emanuele has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2000, they worked as an Environmental Practice Group Legal Assistant at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Management Assistant and Quality Assurance Analyst at Perrin Quarles Associates. Kellem Agnew then joined the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission as a Program Coordinator from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they became a Program Manager for Industrial Motors & Motor Systems at the Consortium for Energy Efficiency. From 2012 to 2016, Kellem worked as an Independent Consultant, providing strategic planning and opportunity assessments for the global coffee industry. Kellem Agnew then served as the Director of Food & Agriculture Sector Lead at Attēgo ESG Impact Solutions, a division of RTI International, from 2016 to 2018. Kellem later became the Executive Director of the International Women's Coffee Alliance from 2019 to 2021, where they led the organization's strategic development and operations. In 2021, they became the Chief Impact Officer at Sustainable Harvest Coffee Importers, focusing on sustainability and impact-related operational efficiency. Most recently, Kellem Agnew Emanuele took on the role of an Independent Consultant, working with organizations to accelerate progress in achieving their unique vision, mission, and values. In September 2022, they joined the National Coffee Association USA as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing day-to-day operations and optimizing operations according to the organization's strategic plan.
Kellem Agnew Emanuele has completed the following educational programs: a UNC Business Essentials Certificate from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, an Executive Certificate in Sustainability Leadership from Presidio Graduate School, a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Environmental Policy from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Spanish from Bucknell University, a program in Sustainable Development from The School for Field Studies, and a Leading with Finance Program Certificate from Harvard Business School Online.
