Mark Corey

Director, Scientific & Government Affairs at National Coffee Association

Mark Corey is an accomplished professional in the field of food science with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Director of Scientific & Government Affairs at the National Coffee Association since February 2018, Mark has held several leadership positions including Director of Product Development at Heartland Food Products Group and Group Leader of Beverage R&D at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. Mark's earlier roles included Senior Food Scientist and Product Development Scientist at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, as well as a USDA National Needs Doctoral Fellow at the University of Georgia. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Food Science from The University of Georgia, a Master of Science in Food Science from Penn State University, and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Food Science from the University of Maine.
