David Schmitz

David Schmitz is an experienced professional in education and event coordination, currently serving as an Event Coordinator at the Institute for Creation Research since June 2021, where responsibilities include planning and executing educational events. In addition, David works as an ESL Instructor at Shine Language School, providing virtual instruction for diverse age groups. Previous roles include University Outreach Recruiter at the Foundation for Economic Education, Director of International Programs and Assistant Professor of ESL at Iowa Wesleyan University, and Academic Coordinator at The Language Company. With a solid academic background, David holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Southeast Missouri State University.
