Leo-Rey C. Gordon

Leo-Rey C. Gordon's work experience includes significant roles in economic and financial research and analysis. Leo-Rey C. currently serves as the Head of Economic and Financial Research and Analysis at National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB), where they create forecasts and evaluates macro-financial conditions to identify potential opportunities and risks for the organization. Previously, they held a position at Bank of Jamaica as the Head of the Financial Stability Department, where they managed a team of financial economists and conducted analyses on macro-financial ratios. Leo-Rey C. also worked as an Assistant Professor at Wilmington University, where they supervised research and taught courses in economics, finance, and statistics. Additionally, they gained experience as a Research Assistant and held various positions in sales, accounting, and customer service.

Leo-Rey C. Gordon has a PhD in Economics from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's of Science (BSc) in Mathematics from the University of the West Indies. Leo-Rey C. also attended Campion College High School. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program, the "Finacial Programming and Policies, Part 2" certification from the International Monetary Fund, and the "Economic Measurement" certification from the National Association for Business Economics. Leo-Rey C. has also received certificates for "Financial Programming and Policies, Part 1: Macroeconomic Accounts & Analysis" and "Debt Sustainability Analysis" from edX.
