Joshua Koomson

Joshua Koomson, MPA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health care policy and accreditation processes. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Surveyor Management Accreditation Recognition Operations at NCQA since November 2016, Joshua oversees the Surveyor Management functions and Accreditation/Certification survey processes while advising on hiring and personnel management. Previous roles include Manager of Accreditation & Surveyor Management and Coordinator of the Quality Solutions Group at NCQA, where responsibilities included conducting NCQA Accreditation surveys, managing reports for health initiatives, and facilitating project logistics. Joshua's background also encompasses roles at Amerigroup as a Health Program Representative II, Howard Community College as a Testing Specialist and Welcome Center Associate, and internships focused on health policy and development. Joshua holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Care Policy and Administration from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland.
