Alexander Abbott

Alexander Abbott is a Government Relations and Policy Assistant at The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare since June 2013. Prior experience includes an internship with the Congressional Office of Alan Lowenthal and a role as an organizing fellow with Organizing for America, where responsibilities included voter registration and volunteer management. Alexander also completed internships with AARP, focusing on advocacy campaigns and Capitol Hill activities, and supported the Libby Garvey for Virginia State Senate campaign through voter outreach efforts. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy from American University, earned in 2012. Early work experience includes a position as a Sandwich Artist at Subway Restaurant.
