Sheila K. has a long and impressive work history. Sheila began their career in 2005 as a 4th and 6th Grade Elementary School Teacher for Teach for America. Sheila then moved to Hillel International in 2007, where they held a variety of positions including Vice President for Student Engagement and Leadership, Vice President for Social Entrepreneurship, Director of Ask Big Questions, and Assistant Director for Jewish Student Life. In 2019, Sheila K. became the CEO of the National Council of Jewish Women, INC.

Sheila K. received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Ithaca College in 2005. Sheila then went on to receive a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Pace University in 2007.
