National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)
Catherine Cantieri holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Since June 2015, Catherine has served in various roles at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, advancing from Human Resources Project Specialist to Senior Generalist in Human Resources & Organizational Development. Prior experience includes positions as a Training Coordinator and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, as well as HR intern roles at Project Footsteps and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Catherine also possesses professional certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)
The purpose of NCSBN is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. NCSBN's programs and services include developing the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations, performing policy analysis and promoting uniformity in relationship to the regulation of nursing practice, disseminating data related to the licensure of nurses, conducting research pertinent to NCSBN's purpose, and serving as a forum for information exchange for members.
