Jocelyn A. Chadwick

Jocelyn A. Chadwick, PhD, has extensive experience in education and scholarly work, serving as an educator and consultant since September 1971 at the National Council of Teachers of English and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Chadwick held the position of English Professor from 1997 to 2005 and was President of NCTE during Summer 2017 to Fall 2018. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts from Texas Woman's University, a PhD in English Language and Literature from Elmira College, and a residency at the University of London focusing on Late Nineteenth-Century British Literature and Rhetoric. Chadwick's educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Houston Christian University.
