Pauline Malek

Pauline Malek is a Senior Legal Advisor at the Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC-NL) since October 2022, with a strong background in legal advisory roles, including serving as an Academy Fellow at The Clingendael Institute from July 2020 to July 2022 and as a Military Legal Advisor in the Koninklijke Luchtmacht from September 2017 to December 2019. Prior experience includes positions as a Research Supervisor at the Kalshoven-Gieskes Forum on International Humanitarian Law and as Coordinator for an initiative focused on legal norms related to trade with settlements. Malek has also interned at the Al-Haq Organisation, Diakonia International Humanitarian Law Centre, and the Netherlands Red Cross. Educational qualifications include a Post Academic Specialization in Cyber Crime and Cyber Security from Leiden University, master's and bachelor's degrees in law from the same institution, and participation in the Warsaw Course on International Humanitarian Law.
