Urvik Dhagat

Urvik Dhagat is an experienced analyst currently working at the National Dairy Development Board since June 2015, focusing on quality management and microbiological analysis in compliance with Indian Standards. Prior to this role, Urvik served as a Research Associate at Anand Agricultural University, where responsibilities included DNA extraction, library preparation, emulsion PCR for sequencing, metagenomic studies, and bioinformatics analysis. A background in technology transfer and entrepreneurship development was gained during tenure at Business Planning and Development. Earlier experiences include a role as JRF in technology facilitation with the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission and conducting HLA analysis and molecular diagnosis of animal diseases while at Anand Agricultural University. Urvik holds two Master's degrees in Biotechnology from Sardar Patel University, acquired between 2003 and 2008.
