Susan Bryant

Visting Fellow, Institute For National Strategic Studies at National Defense University

Susan Bryant is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and education within the defense and strategic sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director at Strategic Education International since July 2018, Susan also holds positions as a Special Warfare Instructor at Motive International, LLC, and a Visiting Fellow at the National Defense University's Institute for National Strategic Studies. Additional roles include Adjunct Faculty at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University. Previous notable positions include Chief of Staff at CSA's Strategic Studies Group, Chief of Plans for the Office of the US Security Coordinator, and Division Chief of Strategy, Concepts, and Doctrine within the US Army. Educational achievements include a Doctorate in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University and Master's degrees from Marine Corps University and Yale University. Currently, Susan is engaged in the Seminar XXI program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
