Conor Maxwell

Conor Maxwell is a Program Officer at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) since July 2023, with a strong background in international relations and program management. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Student at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service from August 2021 to May 2023 and as an Editor At Large for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs from September 2021 to October 2022. Conor gained valuable insights during an internship at the U.S. Department of State, specifically within the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, and has held multiple roles at the International Republican Institute, including Senior Program Associate. Other notable positions encompass internships at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the German Marshall Fund, Journey's End Refugee Services, and the International Institute of Buffalo, contributing to refugee resettlement efforts and strategic partnerships. Conor holds a Master’s degree in Global Politics and Security from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Middlebury College, graduating Cum Laude.
